Nothing's changed. Driskell is still pathetic. Pease's playcalling is still horrible. Muschamp still doesn't look like he knows what the hell is going on. It all adds up to what could be a delightfully gut wrenching season for the orange and blah.
So, as always, here's the live game thread, with all sentiments of Gator hope and joy removed, leaving only the sweet misery, agony and frustration. Enjoy.

Shut the hell up and get in the

The last 20 or so seconds of this
game chalked up the Muschamp-Pease-Driskel era to the T. When you have 3
boneheads with no brains this is what you get. Remember in year one when
Muschamp made some really stupid in-game decisions that left you scratching
your head? Guess what, you are still getting them NOW. How can all 3 of them be
so CLUELESS about managing a football game? It’s embarrassing enough if we were
Florida Atlantic but we are 1 of the top Football programs in the country.
Muschamp is losing the fan base FAST.

Miami kicked the shit out of us
But not as bad as we kicked the shit
out of ourselves. Face it. The Gators suck under Mushchamp.
Until today
I was a HUGE supporter of Driskel and
Muschamp. I’ve always been a bit questionable of the Pease hiring.
Today was pathetic, embarrassing, and
just plain sad. Driskel deserved to be benched (Yes even though we have no
quality backup).
I will say I was extremely proud of
both Patton and VH3 today. And Durkin had the D ready to go. But obviously it
doesn’t matter how good your D is when your O is incompetent.
I don’t pretend to think I know what’s going on behind the scenes
as
far as the dynamic between Pease and
Muschamp. That said, Dan Hawkins left Boise St and was horrible. That should
have been the first indication that Boise St is good because Petersen is good,
not the offensive coordinator. Pease is the same. I was waiting and wanted to
give this guy a fair shake, but really? That, after last year? Obviously Boise
wasn’t good because of him.
I agree, Driskel didn’t cut it and
still holds it too long. Not sure the answer, since we don’t have a quality
backup (but that’s based on Pease’s evaluation, and he’s losing all credibility
with me).
I remember
When Pease was hired everyone here
was going on and on about how great the hire was. I don’t know how you could
possibly still think that now. It was not a good hire. The Joker hire was a
good one though.
I loved Driskel in High School, and
even after his performance against GA I still stuck behind him. But after
today, I’ve lost all hope for this entire football team.
